There are high stone walls around the front of the city, with the back guarded by the mountains. The governor’s palace sits in the centre and looks down upon the other buildings.

Most of the city was inhabited by the administrators, guards and specialists that served the nearby mines. The city has been overtaken by a fiendish power and the mine slaves rose up in rebellion and slaughtered their masters. Anshari is now besieged by the army of Karzesh.
